Transfer paper for inkjet

Transfer paper for the transferring of photographs and images onto candles. Size: 210 x 297 mm (A4). Suitable for inkjet printers.

Directions for use

1. Match the dimensions of the images to the candles. Using an inkjet printer, print the images onto the smooth, matte-white side of the transfer paper. Do not use a laser printer or a photocopying machine.
2. Wait 30 minutes for the ink to dry and become waterproof.
3. Carefully cut out the images.
4. Place the cut-out images in water for one minute. Then carefully transfer the images from the paper to the candle.
5. Slide the images into the correct position. Remove any bubbles with a damp sponge.
6. Allow to dry for at least one hour.

A transfer’s background is whitish in colour. As a result, the image shows clearly on darker candles. However, this also means that the white background remains visible in areas without ink. Covering the transfer with candle lacquer or paraffin (>80ºC) protect it and make sure it is firmly fixed.

Warning:

Use only under the supervision of an adult and according to the user guidelines above. Only for use with inkjet printers. It is up to the user to determine whether the printer is suitable for use with the transfer paper. Never leave lit candles unattended and always light them on a non-flammable surface. Carefully cut away any transfer paper that remains as the candle burns down.
